A Very Fall Weekend!

Update on my fun cheap crafts! 

It went over great! We got some new pumpkins from the pumpkin patch which was an experience in itself! (Post about that coming soon). Millie got a baby pumpkin and kept calling it her baby. It was super cute... she freaked out when she found it 

Painting the pumpkins was a lot of fun! At first Millie only wanted to paint her pumpkin orange.. 0-0 really kid? I finally convinced her to add some more color to it! Then the paint got a bit messy mostly because I think I gave her too much control over the amount of paint she was getting. 

I love that the kitty cat piece was a hit for my little one. She probably would have kept painting all night had I let her go that far. I plan on letting her put stickers on it tonight after I get off work. 

I carved the big pumpkin while she was napping which helped make sure I got it done without being pulled in several directions by my energetic two year old. 

This was also my first pumpkin I've carved while living on my own. Getting to do all this new stuff for the first time is so exciting and makes me feel like a kid again... ya I might be partly living through my child. The cool part is by living through her I know she is getting the childhood that I want her to have. 

Nonetheless I'd say this weekend was great and productive!
