Time Flies

Why is it when you have children that time seems to go a bit faster than it used to go? I mean it isn't going faster time is time and it doesn't go faster it is always the same. However this last two years have flown by and its hard to believe in just five short months I will have a two year old. Can you believe that? I sure can't.

Sometimes I feel like its taking her so long to start doing something and then the next day she does it and boom I'm wishing she was little again so I could just hold her in my arms like I used to. Its hard to believe that little baby has grown to be such a sweet little girl full of spunk and attitude. She's such a happy baby and I absolutely love that about her. No matter what happens she always has a smile to show off.

Now I have this toddler who loves to play and giggle. My toddler who loves to throw tantrums and give me attitude when she doesn't get her way. My toddler that snuggles with me and kisses me a thousand times. I will never tell her to stop I love each and every one of those kisses and snuggles. Now I have this pint size me toddler who puts me in my place when I need it.

I know I am just like every mom out there that thinks her child is the most amazing child ever but lets be honest she is to me. She's all I will ever need. I am so glad that I am able to give her so much love because that is what truly matters... Love. I used to always be scared that Millie would hate me because I couldn't give her the newest everything but what I have come to learn is that it doesn't matter how much stuff I give her it is about how much love and attention I give her. I think I do a pretty good job if i do say so myself.

Can you believe how big shes gotten? Look how long those legs are! Shes always been rather short but here she just looks so big its hard to believe. I love this picture of her because of how innocent she looks and how sweet she sleeps like that. I love her no matter how big she gets or what she does there is nothing in this world that could make me stop loving her.

I made one beautiful baby!

Workout Time: It Hurts but its Worth It!

Yesterday was the first day I got to the gym since Thursday of last week and man did I regret that. I got to the gym last night to realize how much harder it was when I put time in between my work outs. So last night I was more than mad at myself when I got on the elliptical and was struggling. I decided to push my self as hard as I could with the time I had left. So I uped the level on the elliptical as high as I could take it. I think I did about 17 and I made myself work for each cycle I wanted to prove to myself that I was capable of anything I put my mind to. So for five minutes on 17 I worked as hard as I could. I honestly thought my legs were going to fall off or something but I somehow was able to get through the five minutes. I was going a lot slower than normal but I think I got a really good work out from it. I only was able to be at the gym for about 45 minutes last night but I used every second I could to get a good work out in.

It wasn't four miles or even two miles but I pushed myself as hard as I possibly could and that is that truly matters to me right now.

Along with working out I have continued to track my Macros and I think I am doing a decent job of that but am still struggling to learn how to measure foods out so that I reach my goals. I sometimes feel like I am not getting enough protein however for someone like me who has almost never eaten meat up until this point the amount of progress I have made is eminence. I am definitely getting closer to my goal.

I may not be making huge progress but I am taking baby steps to get there. This for me is not only about weight loss but it is about being healthy and taking care of myself. I don't want to feel weak and tired any more and I feel I am in the right direction right now.

What are some good work outs I can do to push myself?

Meal #2- Beer Pork Chops

I was very surprised to like this meal as much as I did. Not only was it quick to make but it was really good and a big hit for the whole family yes Millie, Josh and I all loved the Beer Pork Chops. I kinda Altered the recipe a bit and halved the brown sugar and ketchup but it was still amazing! I decided to use Reds Apple Ales and mmmmm mmm that was so yummy. I also added a bit of seasoning to these to give it that extra punch that me and Josh like. I was very surprised that Millie liked it in fact my little chubs couldn't get enough of this dish! She kept trying to steel food from Josh and I, but no wayyyy it was way to good lol!

That is how easy it was to make! Ketchup, Beer, brown sugar!

Poured it in to the pan and added pork chops and seasonings.

And there ya go! Beer Pork Chops~ It was so good!!! Trust me when I say you wont regret making this dish!

Budgeting...Do I have too?

Budgeting can be really tough to conquer. Many people struggle with making a budget that fits there needs. I have looked at a ton of online budgeting pages but have found nothing to really help me see what I am spending and what is coming in.

I decided to go ahead and make my own budget sheet on excel which to be honest I feel is the best way to write down everything coming in and going out. You can easily make a sheet to fit your budget needs so its easy to read for you.

I started by writing down Josh and my own expenses and looked at it all added up. On my budget billing I put which persons bill it was and the due date along with a line to fill in once the item was paid for and the conformation number if it applied.

I am not saying this is the budget sheet for you but I am saying that sometimes there is no budget sheet that fits your life perfectly so go ahead and make one! This only shoe expenses however I have not been late on one payment since starting this. It just kind of lays out what is due and when. I also like this because once something is paid I highlight it in a different color to show it has been paid. This helps me not stress entirely to much like I normally would about such things.

I also printed these off till the end of the year and any bill I get or conformation page I get I print off and make sure to put it the binder behind the month that was paid last. That way I can see everything and I can also prove that I paid it.

Budgeting is so very important that I can't stress enough that if your not budgeting you need to be! It is so important to budget for so many reasons. I have found my top reason being that its a huge stress relief! Secondly one late payment can affect everything you do including going to buy a house. I found this out the hard way when I was late on maybe two payments prior and it made it very hard to get the loan. I did get the loan but it was tougher than it should have been overall. Paying your bills on time can be easy or hard.... its your choice.
