We are going to be Foster Parents!

I have been trying to write this post for like three days so here we go!

Starting this weekend we will be fostering two puppy's! Oh how excited I am! It is just overnight but I am excited to get some loves from a sweet puppy! This is particular exciting because Josh and I have been wanting to get a dog together. However I have my concerns about it so I am excited to foster to get an idea on what having a dog in out house would be like.

Having a baby is my biggest concern because I don't want to get a dog and it not be the right fit for our family. Sooooo excited! We will be fostering the top two puppy's. I am so excited!

Hopefully we get some sleep but whatever happens its going to be a blast hanging out with these pups this weekend.  

Baby Bites

Kids bite. It is probably one of the most nerving thing for parents because it can be truly hard to break a baby from doing such a thing. 

Well Millie got bit by a child at her day care. As soon as it happened the baby sitter messaged me and told me what had happened. She also sent a picture of the bite mark and apologized. 

I couldn't help but laugh because I wasn't to upset. I mean of course I checked on how Millie was doing now and decided the bite wasn't serious. If there had been broken skin I would have been driving to get her to have her checked out because a human mouth holds a lot of germs and infection so I would't want her getting sick that way. 

I guess Millie had just been sitting by the other girl and Millie wasn't doing anything to provoke it. That's my good girl! However I am sure the other baby girl had her reasons, she could have been scared or overwhelmed or upset. It happens! 

Seriously though not worried. 

Baby's bite for a reason normally so that just what I will go with. 

We have never had a problem like that before so when I read it I was actually kinda shocked to see it. She will be okay though . 

Currently you can't even tell she was bit! 

Anyways my advice if this happens to you make sure to watch the baby that was bit to see if bite swells or looks red. If there is an open wound take to doctor immediately. Also don't get mad! Someday it will be your kid that bites someone and you'll totally hate yourself. It happens a lot more than you'd think. 

Date night was Fantastic

Date night was amazing and very simple which in my opinion makes the best dates ever. We started the night having josh pic what bored game we should play and what to have for dinner. 

So while he went to pick up a few things for our night I ordered dinner and set up the living room. Once our food got here I turned on Netflix and waited for josh to get home. I made sure since we didn't have a baby we took the kids toys out of the living room because honestly we needed our moment. 

It was really romantic.

I had also planed for us to go to a drive in movie but it ended up raining so we played monopoly all night. 

It was a blast and we laughed so hard because let's be honest monoply never ends! We started the game at 8 and didn't give up till 11:30. Lol things got intense.

It was so much fun. 

Only part that kinda sucked was Millie started not feeling good while she was at Nana's so we rushed over to get her and she stayed up all night till about two. But we really missed her so we didn't mind having to get her so late. I love my family. 

It may not be the most traditional family but they make me happy. That's all I've wanted.
