This is kinda weird. You've grown up so quickly and I am more proud of you than I could ever be. We haven't always got along, we didn't see eye to eye for many many years. I am so glad those years are over, we still may disagree sometimes but I thank god every day we have such and amazing trusting relationship. I don't know a lot and I am not much further in life than you but I want to give you a few seconds of advice.
1. Not everyone is going to like you. I know it is hard to believe but it is true. Learn to love and put your self first and no one else's opinion will matter.
2.Be on time to every class every time! Run if you have to lol.
3.Go to the school activities even if your tired. You will probably meet some of your closest friends this way.
4.Put in the effort. With whatever you do a little effort goes a really long way.
5.Fight for what you want....no I don't mean that last cookie in the cafeteria... I mean fight for what you believe is right even if your a little scared the outcome won't work out. Sometimes fighting for whats right is better than fighting for nothing.
6.Failure is okay. It is going to suck and hurt and probably be the worst feeling ever but failing is what teaches us how not to fail the next time.
7.Get back up and try try again.
8. Call your mom. Shes going to try to pretend shes okay a few weeks from now but its not easy and she needs to hear your voice.
And lastly...........
9. Call me and Millie every now and then. As happy as I am to get our mom alone for a bit lol I really don't know what life is without you in it. You've been my side kick from your first day. Your my bean scavenger, my wasp hunter, my sled buddy, my baby daddy and my best friend. And although not everyone knows what I mean by half of those you do, because you get me and I am not ready to lose that.
Also now I am a crying mess at work, I thought this wouldn't hit me this hard so soon but it has. Things are definitely changing but I know your ready for this change. Your going to learn a lot these next few years. Soak it up and have fun but be safe too. I love you to the moon and back.
