Frozen fun!

This time of year is definitely my favorite. For one it is not blistering hot and I get to enjoy all the fun warm things that come around with fall and winter.

So I have been a bit of a nut ball this year because having a two year old who is starting to understand the idea of Christmas and what a birthday even means makes it so much more fun! I have been going all out. Let me show you how bad its gotten haha!

To begin Millie's birthday is in a month! Yes! My little baby is going to be a big 2 year old and I am so not ready for it!

This year I have decided to do a frozen themed birthday because well its the perfect time of year for such a cute idea! My goal of this birthday was to not spend to much on just the birthday part. The show part is what I call it! I wanted to be able to spend more on gifts for Millie but also wanted to do a really cute birthday party I could be proud of. THANK GOD FOR PINTEREST! Am I right?

So my first goal was to come up with some cute decorating ideas. Meet Olaf the door snowman! I really loved this idea because it was sooo easy to make and I didn't spend a dime to make it! I had some left over construction paper and colored pencils and markers to make this. It took maybe 10 minutes to get it exactly how I wanted it but it looks great if I do say so my self!

Second I made melted snowman water bottles! Talk about easy and once again all I spend was the money for the water bottles which were on sell for three packs of 24 water bottles for 10 dollars and I only used one pack! This was such a cute idea that I must thank Pinterest for.  I used regular paper and printed off the design and used hot glue to place them on easily.

My poster I made is probably my favorite thing I have done so far. I went to the dollar store to get the cut outs of Elsa and Anna and colored them in accordingly. I had some left over tutu cloth and made it into the white snow. I wrote happy birthday and gave it a bit more color! I am really proud of this because I spent about 2.69 on this and it really turned out great!

This is the only picture I have of this but it is not finished here.
So for food I found a super cute idea and I can't wait to prepare it! We will be having pretzel sticks and marshmallows to make Olaf. We will have carrots which will be Olaf's nose. I have plenty other ideas for food but there is a few. I don't want to give away all my ideas just yet.

There will be many more ideas and fun activities and I can't wait for everyone to be over at my house for the first time since I bought it! I am so excited for all the family time I will be getting this year. Can't wait to show you the finished outcome of all these ideas coming up. Keep updated by checking my blog out and face book page! Can't wait to share so much more with you.
