Okay so after some investigation... it is not a mouse, my other thought was maybe I had been sleep walking. Nope not that. It happens to be a very ornery three year old who gets those late night munchies.
Let me explain what my little red head has been up to every night at 4:30 am. -_-
So recently I set a bed time of 8-8:30 pm and I don't think it is working out in my favor like I thought it would. It has been nice to get some things done with no kiddo messing up what I just cleaned. I recently got white sheets on my bed so I have been making her sleep in her own bed because I don't want my white sheets being messed up. A perfect excuse to not let her sleep with me any more... as hard as it is I am okay with it actually.
ANYWAYS.... Millie has been waking up around 4:30ish sneaking into the kitchen, stalking down the stool and moving it by the counter. She stands on it and I am sure after some tough deliberation grabs her hamburger bun. Of course, I mean don't grab the regular bread sitting in front of it, grab the buns wayyy in the back that also happen to cost more... but ya don't worry about it.
She crawls into bed with me and chomps on her hamburger bun and starts talking to me. I normally don't hear the talking until I feel the crumbs alll over my new sheets.... my new WHITE sheets. Crumbs in bed are one of the most infuriating things that I thought would never bother me. I know I should have known better but at least its just crumbs that can be wiped off.
So if you thought your kid was weird at least they don't sneak out at the crack of dawn grabbing a hamburger bun with nothing on them. She knows how to put peanut butter on bread without me (kid knife). Also if she ever spends the night at your house remember to hide your hamburger buns she ate two last night before I realized it. I am thinking of trying to video her doing this....
