Yesterday was the first day I got to the gym since Thursday of last week and man did I regret that. I got to the gym last night to realize how much harder it was when I put time in between my work outs. So last night I was more than mad at myself when I got on the elliptical and was struggling. I decided to push my self as hard as I could with the time I had left. So I uped the level on the elliptical as high as I could take it. I think I did about 17 and I made myself work for each cycle I wanted to prove to myself that I was capable of anything I put my mind to. So for five minutes on 17 I worked as hard as I could. I honestly thought my legs were going to fall off or something but I somehow was able to get through the five minutes. I was going a lot slower than normal but I think I got a really good work out from it. I only was able to be at the gym for about 45 minutes last night but I used every second I could to get a good work out in.

It wasn't four miles or even two miles but I pushed myself as hard as I possibly could and that is that truly matters to me right now.
Along with working out I have continued to track my Macros and I think I am doing a decent job of that but am still struggling to learn how to measure foods out so that I reach my goals. I sometimes feel like I am not getting enough protein however for someone like me who has almost never eaten meat up until this point the amount of progress I have made is eminence. I am definitely getting closer to my goal.
I may not be making huge progress but I am taking baby steps to get there. This for me is not only about weight loss but it is about being healthy and taking care of myself. I don't want to feel weak and tired any more and I feel I am in the right direction right now.
What are some good work outs I can do to push myself?
